Nico, the geeko behind Nicothegeeko, has been playing video games ever since she worked out hand and eye coordination. Nico is a Digital Marketing Manager by day, an avid gamer by night, and an eSports competitor on the weekends.

While attending college at the University of Southern California, Nico became fervently involved in the Los Angeles video game community. She worked as a technology reporter for USC’s Neon Tommy, covering video game culture and events. She also helped form USC’s Smash Club. As the historian and an eBoard member of USC Smash Club, Nico worked to coordinate tourneys for the growing competitive Smash Bros. scene.

After graduating college Nico began her personal blog to continue her passion, writing about video games and eSports.
